We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Owners, the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, upon whose land we live and create on. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and extend our acknowledgment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples from all nations across this land.
We hold profound respect for the enduring connection that Aboriginal people cultivate with textiles, garment and art creation. We see in each basket woven, possum skin cloak sewn and all contemporary labels creating today as a reflection of the resilience inherent in the survival of the Earth’s oldest living culture and its people.
To any First Nations people reading this, we stand with you. Sovereignty has never been ceded.
Always was.
Always will be.
