Our silk satin is chosen for its refined sheen, softness, and quality. With a little extra care, it will maintain its beauty over time. Please note this is a very delicate material and will require more love and care than it’s leather counterparts.
- Avoid Abrasion: Keep your shoes away from rough surfaces to prevent snags or fabric damage.
- Guard Against Liquids: Silk satin is very delicate and easily stained/scuffed. Avoid rain, oils, and alcohol spills, and promptly dab away any surface dirt with a soft, dry cloth.
- Optional Waterproofing: A light waterproofing spray can provide extra protection, though it’s essential to do a patch test first to ensure no discoloration occurs.
To extend the life of your silk satin shoes, if there is dirst of dust, the first thing to do is to remove any loose dirt, being careful to not rub any debris into the material. For silk shoes, spot clean soiled areas using a soft brush.
